6th Class
Ms. Good's 6th Class: September
September's activities in 6th Class included running a Student Council Election. The boys prepared and rehearsed their speeches before delivering to the class. Everybody spoke extremely well and should be very proud for putting themselves forward to be elected to represent our class at Student Council level. We also had a STEM challenge of creating a solid straw tower using only straws and Blu tac. The class were asked to work in small groups and were given twenty minutes to complete the task. The boys loved constructing different towers using their imagination and creativity. For Friendship week, 6th Class did a wonderful job at performing a short play based on being a good friend, not just during Friendship Week but everyday. Finally, the boys had an amazing time down at St.Anne’s at the Cross Country Athletics. The boys ran an impressive 700metres and did themselves and their school so proud! It was a great event and hopefully something we can build on going forward.

Mr. Mooney's 6th Class: September
September has been a busy and exciting month as the boys in 6th Class settled into their final year of primary school. They have been enjoying a range of team-building activities and fun maths games, working together and getting to know each other even better. As part of our Student Council elections, the boys have also been learning all about how elections work in Ireland. They put their learning into practice at the end of the week by holding their very own Student Council election! To finish off a busy month, the boys have been getting out and active with some fun and energetic tag rugby sessions. It has been a fantastic start to 6th Class!
